28-Day Whole Living Detox: Day 16

Life is getting back to normal and it feels good. What I mean by that is that I’m starting to change my mindset to feeling less restricted by the cleanse and instead just embracing it. As cliché as it is, I’m starting to look forward to what I can have at restaurants, meals with challenge and purpose rather than focusing in all the things that are on my ‘off-limits’ list. Case in point: Today’s lunch at Protein Bar, which is an absolute favorite. If you’re in the Chicagoland area and you haven’t tried this place, you must. During phase two you won’t be the full scope of the experience so you may want to hold out until phase three, but if not the Vegan Superfood salad is delicious and within parameters.

Done and done.

Breakfast: Green Monster (Power greens, organic frozen raspberries, banana, 100% OJ)
Lunch: Protein Bar’s Vegan Superfood Salad
Dinner: Roasted Garlic and beet soup with a baked sweet potato
